THAT WHERE THOU ART IN GLORY

Prophetic Word for Today: The God of Israel who answered Jabez and ended his pain shall answer you today by fire, in the name of Jesus.

Praise & Worship

Start this morning’s devotional with the hymn: “Oh Jesus I have promised”, meditating deeply on verse 3 (Jesus’ promise that where He is in glory, His servants will be too). Many shed tears of comfort and relief, when they sing this verse. If you have ever been lonely because nobody can feel the depth of your despair and frustration from the pounding that the devil is giving your life, you will understand the relief that these words bring to a hurting soul.

Victoria, an only child from her mother, found herself and her very young children having to live with her father and stepmother when her husband kicked them out. Unknown to Victoria, the man had surreptitiously, using the power of attorney she gave him, changed ownership of her house, her inheritance from her dead mother. Still repaying the huge loan she collected to modernise the house, Victoria had no money to sue him to court to recover the house.

With so many loans, she could not afford to rent a place. Her stepmother made it very clear that Victoria and her children were not welcome in that house and she manipulated the father to make her life unbearable. Unable to bear the humiliation from her own father, his wife and her children from previous marriages who had taken over her father’s properties, Victoria contemplated suicide. One day she picked up her Bible and it just opened to Isaiah 43:1-3 and it sent waves of relief all over her. Later, Victoria joined MFM and after deliverance, she recovered her house and now owns other houses in Nigeria and in Europe.

Hurting soul, what is the enemy doing to afflict you? Be assured that it is because he wants to use your doubts and fears as legal ground for blocking your divine destiny. Your God, Who brought you to this earth for a specific purpose, has programmed specific virtues that will enable you fulfil your destiny. Whatever He has allowed the enemy to do is just a divine quality assurance process to ensure that you become what He ordained for you.

Please read and memorize God’s promises in the following passages: Philippians 4:4-7; Rom. 8:28; Isaiah 43:1-2; 1 Peter 5:7; Deuteronomy 31:6. They are the stones in your David’s bag for the head of Goliath of your destiny.

PRAYER POINTS

Morning

1. Lord Jesus, I lay my life at Your feet, have mercy on me. Strengthen my spirit man to know that You never fail.

2. Every Goliath boasting against my life, I cut off your head, in the name of Jesus.

3. I trample on the spirit of hopelessness with shoes of iron, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. I recover all that I have lost to the enemy in times of ignorance, in the name of Jesus.

5. Ancestral powers that are angry that I belong to Jesus, receive stones of fire, in the name of Jesus.

6. Holy Ghost fire, fill me from head to toe and consume every evil inheritance, in the name of Jesus.

7. O God my Father, turn every curse to blessings in my life, in the name of Jesus.
